The Gingerbread Centre a local Stoke-on-Trent Charity.
As a local business in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, we are always looking for ways to support the community! And we thought, why not share a little bit about one close to our hearts, right here in Stoke-on-Trent.
The Gingerbread Centre
The Gingerbread Centre provides accommodation for homeless families and single pregnant women. Accommodation is supplied to 22 homeless families at Rothesay Court and 7 units of supported accommodation at Catherine Court in Hanley.
What do they do?
The Gingerbread Centre serves a diverse range of families, and the reasons for becoming homeless can be complex. They offer packages that are tailored to the needs of the family. Benefits and budgeting, health, training, managing accommodation, and, if necessary, domestic violence and resettlement. The team works closely with each other and outside agencies such as health, social care and domestic violence support agencies to ensure the families receive the right support.
